This Friday the suitably gritty Loophole, in the heart of Neukölln, will play host to a night of DIY nineties fun as ‘90s Cover’d’ sees two rival groups of local musicians perform live covers, in a battle for sonic superiority.
Britpop faces off against Hiphop, in a theme that captures the best of the 90’s sound for what’s sure to be a night of raucous good fun. Characteristically punchy guitar riffs meet iconic MPC percussion, with a good dose of lyrical wordplay added in. With covers of Oasis, Blur, Snoop Dogg, TLC and more – it’s one not to be missed for anyone in need of a nostalgic hit. Performers on the night will include members of Askers Dodge, Banglist and Usual Boys as well as Margot, Molly Mae, Palo G and Dorothy Mour.
The event takes place this Friday, March 8th from 20h @ Loophole, Neukölln. The fancier the dress (fancy dress!) the better, so whack on your best nineties gear and come on down. Save yourself the cost of entry, and send an email to anna(at)indieberlin.de to enter our ticket raffle!
This event is brought to you by BIMM Berlin and indieBerlin Events.
