Tonight at Jazzkollektiv Nights: AN/PP, particle trajectories and varying density states – is that jazz?q

AN/PP is a duo in which the computer uses the sound of the flute as a basic element to build textures, glitches and visuals. The flute’s sound is altered by unpredictable quantum probabilities; the audience witnesses a chaotic and psychedelic audio-visual experience through particle trajectories and varying density states of matter between the continuous timbre of the flute and the glitchy-digital noises of the computer. AN/PP is a visual-sonification of a travel through matter: from the infinitesimal small to the cell size, to experience the granularity of our world, to question ourselves whether our universe is continuous or discrete.
