The Indie Angel: Camila Recchio with Macklemore’s Ray Dalton
Starting her writing at the young age of 12, Camila Recchio has over 100 songs.
“Referred to as a Goddess” by one of her peers WAX She began noticing her musical talents at a young age whilst learning to play the guitar to a “Green day” song and bringing to life a poem that her friend wrote in her early teens.
Camila later came to duet with Ray Dalton from the Macklemore band, which subsequently led her to work together with the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis setup on the Macklemore album Heist.
Her music career blossomed into a well quenched spectacle as she recently sang during a halftime show for the world to see, during a “Pittsburgh Steelers” and “Seattle Seahawks” NFL game.
In working with Macklemore, Camila was humbly honored to assist on his Grammy Award winning album “the Heist”.
Camila comes from a supportive musical family from Seattle. She herself resides in the California area along with her bandmates for the artist “Watsky”. She tours internationally with this group and had had some amazing experiences. Enlarging her repertoire, Camila Recchio and fellow Watsky Bandmate Kush Mody began a duet and together called “Feed the Biirds”, between them they have their hit single “Beneath the Water”.
Besides collaborating with Kush Mody, Camila has had the opportunity to collaborate with many other amazing artists as well. In fact, her very first collaboration was with none other than international superstar, Macklemore. In working with Macklemore, Camila was humbly honored to assist on his Grammy Award winning album “the Heist”.
Early 2019, Recchio released her EP, “ Dirty Music” featuring her hit single “fall in love with you”.
