The brilliant Metric are swooping through Berlin on their present European tour on the 31st October that sees them return to guitar-heavy(er) form, straight from opening for the Smashing Pumpkins and a follow-on headliner tour. With their mix of headbangers and techno jam-outs they’re guaranteed to please, as they tour their seventh album.
They’re live in Kesselhaus at the Kulturbrauerei and one not to miss!
“We chose ‘Dark Saturday’ as the musical forerunner for the album, so that people would hear that our guitars are back in full strength. The lyrics are about a dystopian scene in the nightlife of the super-rich, where Party Girls say disgusting things like ‘I’m so rich, everything’s free’.”
