Ich Bin Ein Berliner – Keine Angst is the party to go to this August – set up to feature brand new musical line-ups, the monthly mini-festival is a radical musical circus featuring a mix of indie, electro, post punk, cabaret glam, queer rock and roll and all the rest, with Lolita Terrorist Sounds, DJs Nekrobot, Emanuelle 5 and David Maars. MC for the night is Andreas Schwarz and visuals are provided by the Tulip Arts Project.
An ElectroRockPunkQueerIndieparty to end all ElectroRockPunkQueerIndiepartys
A highlight of the party: Lolita Terrorist Sounds and Reinhard Kleist is a brand new meeting between two art forms – musicians collaborating with one of the world’s best known comic artists, who’ll be drawing the event live on the stage. Neopolitan Maurizio Vitale has featured in his avant garde music project artists like Andrea Schroeder, Bob Rutman, Doudou N’diaye Rose, Giovanni Imparato, Kristof Hahn, Jochen Arbeit, Les Hommes Sauvages, Living Theatre and a whole lot more.
Reinhard Kleist drew pictures of daily life in an Iraqi refugee camp for the TV channel Arte, and is an ambassador for the Goethe Institute.
Also on the line-up are post-punk goddess Candice Gordon, Mikey Woodbridge and Nekrobot.
