Lonski and Classen were once upon a time the hottest of hot tips sneaking through the Berlin underground. Willfully iconoclastic they less shrugged off commercialism than shrugged their shoulders, wondering what everyone was on about, and carried on their own chosen path.
They seem to have taken a (further?) step back from it all in recent years, keeping much to themselves as the city turns into a maelstrom of international talent and Western captial pushiness; so it’s all the more a nice surprise to get wind of one of their rare performances
On the longest night of the year, in the very mid of Berlin’s dark midwinter, the night is to be called Osthafen Feuertonne, featuring not only the indomitable duo but a fellow rider from their tribe, Case van Duzer (so much so that Felix Classen, one half of L&C, played with her on her release).
With their blend of Post-Krautrock und Pop, Singer-Songwriter, Blues und Impro-Ambient, the L&C duo, plus Case van Duzer, performance artist Jupter Moll, and DJs samtbody / biesentales, chez mieke and fog puma, will draw you in, cuddle you up and send you with a warmer heart and tingling melodies into the Berlin winter, the way through to spring much shorter now.
Oh yes, and we have some free tickets to give away. Write to win (at) indieberlin.de for a chance to get in for free!
