Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals play Columbiahalle on 22nd March!

Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals will be back in Berlin this Friday, March 22nd in what’s sure to be a knockout performance.

“We sold out!” shouted .Paak at Columbia Halle last year, showing off his pearly whites with a big smile before kicking off an awesome ninety-minute set.  The crowd moved —and moshed—from start to finish as .Paak rapped, sang and sat on the drums. Playing with an infectious excitement and insane speed, he got the whole room vibing. Everyone left sweaty, happy and laughing.

This year’s show is sure to sell out again as .Paak and the band gained an even greater global audience in 2018. He released his third Studio album Oxnard (a homage to his birthplace in Southern California), featuring greats like Dr. Dre, 9th Wonder and Kendrick Lamar, and will finish up the “Andy’s Beach Club” world tour this month.

Last week .Paak dropped his new single King James –a laid back approach to the protest anthem that laments the loss of love in a country scarred by a demagogue president and potent police brutality– a sample of what’s to come April 12th when he releases his fourth studio album Ventura. Featuring more legends like Andre 3000, Smokey Robinson and the late Nate Dogg, Ventura picks up where Oxnard left off; a further reflection on how the many different cities of California have impacted his life.

Opening the night will be Tayla Parx, American signer-songwriter and actress from Dallas, Texas, and German rapper Serious Klein. Check out Serious Klein’s first studio album You Should’ve Known featuring the single Voodoo Money, an impressive freshman work that could easily be heard on American radio.

Here’s the Facebook event page for more details. There’s only a handful of tickets left – you can grab one here.
