Join the People Club for Their EP Launch This Friday
November 21 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm€11
The People Club’s new EP is set to launch this week at the ACUD Macht Neu and you could be there to enjoy its first live performance by the soul-infused group.
Despite only coming up their second year, The People Club have already become a regular feature on the Berlin circuit. The group’s unique approach to creating music which combines lyrical social commentaries with classic soul ensemble has made them big fan favourites since forming back at the start of 2018.
Now, nearly two years later, they have been characterised for high energy performances- performances that have made them popular events for those who enjoy more engaging live acts. This has been proven to be true both during their frequent performance at various venues across Berlin, as well as sporadic appearances in both London and Dublin also. With each performance peppered by their penchant for lavish effects and synthesisers.
All of which combined ensures you are in for a special night anytime you get the chance to catch them live and at this special event, this will be even truer. The soul-indie 5-piece will be releasing their new EP, Kill Scott, made up of 4 brand new tracks. This will be the follow-up to their double-sided single at the end of May 2019, Better/Lonesome, and will also see them supported on the night by Psych-Pop threesome, Morioh Sonder.
This means for the reasonable €11 price tag you will see two of Berlin’s promising bands, and indulge in a night filled with a plethora of unique sounds. The event occurs this Thursday at the ACUD Macht Neu, with doors opening at 20:00. Morioh Sonder will kick off the performance at 21:00. They will then be followed directly by the People Club who will then showcase the new EP for the first time live. You can buy tickets via Pushchen here!
