I’ll let Sam from Sofa Salon say it her own way:
An Australian friend emailed me to say, “YOU HAVE HARRY HOWARD, DAVE GRANEY AND CLARE MOORE IN YOUR LIVING ROOM????” That’s how I feel, too. These musicians are legends of the Australian underground and bring us cool and ironic sounds.
Harry Howard, doing an NDE duo show with his partner, author Edwina Preston, is a veteran punk guitarist from The Birthday Party, Crime & The City Solution, These Immortal Souls and Pink Stainless Tail, and has just released his second album ‘Pretty’ with the NDE.
Dave Graney and Clare Moore founded The Moodists and have continued a storied career as heavy entertainers with their own music in The Coral Snakes, the Lurid Yellow Mist and The Dames, as well as collaborating with artists like Matt Walker, Kim Salmon and Mick Harvey.
The NDE is on its first tour of Europe and Sofa Salon is delighted to host Harry & Edwina and Dave & Clare for the last Sofa Salon of 2014.
There’s 12 spaces left for this show. If you want them, email berlinsofasalon at gmail.com as soon as possible.
