Like indieberlin but you’re in another city? Say hallo to Indie Republik

We’ve been happily beavering away doing indieberlin for nearly five years now, and of course there’s so much going on here that it’s hard to get bored. And of course Berlin is Indie and vice versa.

But we know that there’s also a lot of cool stuff going on all around Germany, which we don’t feature on indieberlin because, well, you know, the name?

And that’s why we’re spreading our wings a little.

So say hallo to Indie Republik.

We’re soon to kick off a bilingual sister site to indieberlin dedicated to all the good independent music, art, fashion, literature and lifestyle that’s going on all around the country. And sometimes even further afield.

So if you love the indieberlin vibe but you’re in Munich, Hamburg, Cologne etc, you don’t have to be left out in the cold.

But here’s the thing: We need people to help us. Do you like indieberlin? Are you culturally interested, involved, invigorated?

We’re looking for people (German speaking and/or English speaking) to help us launch and run Indie Republik in all the various towns around the country. If you’re into going to concerts on our behalf, checking out exhibitiions on our behalf, if you know what’s going on in your town, then let’s do this together and make Indie Republik everything that indieberlin is. But with its wings stretched wider, and its aim higher.

What else?

Oh boy do we have plans.

Indie Republik will be its own digital nation for people who live online and don’t respond well to the mainstream offerings, who veer away from mass consumer culture, people who think and act individually and independently. There’s more of course, but, well, it’s coming soon.

If you’re into getting on board, being part of the birth of Indie Republik, if you’ve got ideas, if you speak German or English, please get in touch with us at info at indieberlin.de, or in the comments section below, or use the contact form.

We’re looking forward to you!
