Street Style – Berlin Fashion Week

There’s lots to discover as far as fashion is concerned in Berlin. Our city’s original street style is something to be appreciated, so we take to the streets to discover the good, bad and the ugly of Berlin’s fashion scene.

Berlin Street Style // Bec

We scavenge the city for the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s street style. Whether it’s while you’re strolling through the market, enjoying a lazy afternoon at the park, or during a night out.. we have our eyes on you!

Berlin Festival Streetstyle – Yaara

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: SO the Berlin stylo look: “Palli-Tuch à la Berlinoise” – architect’s glasses going with red lipstick – big hairband make-up: thumbs up!

Berlin Street Style – Karina

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: The fur vest, the neck scarf and tights and sneakers gave Karina a very sporty yet feminine look.

Berlin Street Style – Julia

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Julia’s rockabilly style was consistent through her pink 50s cardigan and the white collar. Her hairstyle and make-up fit well too, and the flowery pantyhose gave the whole look a modern and lighthearted touch to it.

Berlin Street Style – Jared and Fanny

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: the two young Americans had the perfect skate-rock-indie-tattooed-piercings look and were chilled but funky! Nice!

Berlin Street Style – Elle

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Elle’s style was very cute – the dress with boots is perfect especially since the black and white colours give the whole outfit a certain maturity so it doesn’t look too cute. The short jacket adds the hint of cool too.

Berlin Street Style – Ilya

Berlin street style – Ilya

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Ilya seemed straight away one of those people where the style matches and reflects the personality – if one can say that from a first glance. He had a very clear stringent style, uncomplicated, light hearted and laid back. The cute smile to go along with it was certainly also a plus…

indieberlin visits // MBFW Berlin S/S 14

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week comes to Berlin twice a year, and for those in the fashion world it’s what’s to blame for the previous six months of work, dedication and exhaustion. Mid-week it’s common to hear most people (who are heavily involved) saying things like, ‘I’m exhausted’ or ‘I think I’ve literally gotten one hour of sleep in the past 3 days.’ For them this is all worth it. The who’s who of Berlin’s fashion scene and selected press and guests from around the world gather bi-annnualy to celebrate and embrace the industry and view upcoming collections.

Berlin Street Style – Elena and Valtteri

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Elena and Valtteri had such a striking partner look – which we found cool: they looked individual but you knew that they had the same taste and style. And although the style wasn’t inspired by nowadays, it was still reassured and modern – very elegant, nonchalant and thus super cool…

Berlin Street Style – Sissy

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Sissy had a very cute aura and hillbilly style. The neck tattoo and hairstyle matched the clothing style and the glasses gave the look an easy going touch.

Berlin Street Style – Delphine

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Delphine was having a teenage discussion with her mum, strolling the fleamarket in x-kölln. She and her look were just so engaging, we just had to ask her if we could take her photo. Thumbs up for that syle!

Berlin Street Style – Damian

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Damian walked the walk – there was simply no question – he had to be photographed for our street style. As soon as we asked him he showed that he was more than happy to pose for us, with none of the coyness that we usually get. And with the look he had it worked all too well. So: voila! Thanks Damian.

Berlin Street Style – Phanendra

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad, and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Phanendra walked past us and had a very sophisticated, serious and artistic vibe to him. The Asian-style jacket and skinny jeans were timeless. Turns out he is a musician and does electronic mantra music. Interesting dude…

Berlin street style – Amondine

We take to the streets to discover the good, the bad and the ugly of Berlin’s notorious fashion scene.

The story: Amondine has a very striking look – a fact that was confirmed to us when we photographed her and a tourist walked by saying “I’ve just photographed her as well…” – what can you do – everything fits: tattoos, piercing, styling, clothes. Cool.
