We’ve decided to give the photographer prize this year to Nico Stinghe: Nico, having worked and shot in Canada, NY and London, has decided to base himself in Berlin for a while and has opened a studio in Kreuzberg called AnotherSidewalkTV. Mixing fashion and art in a wild, always unexpected and quite wild way, he’s provocative and manages to inject an emotional intensity into his work, no matter whether he’s shooting beautiful girls for fashion brands or stretches of pavement…Nico also likes to do things like ask his models to participate by making up costumes. He likes people who have a story to tell, working also in 3D and video, he loves glam, absurdity and chaos.

Among many others, Nico has shot for adidas, Diesel, vice, spin, idn, k7 records, and he also contributed the cover shot for the indieberlin yearbook 2015 (out next week).
